Medical Learning Center CNA Program

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This program is designed to prepare individuals to provide direct patient
care in a variety of health settings under the supervision of a licensed
health care professional such as: LPN, RN and or MD.


Upon successful completion of the training program, the graduate will be
able to take the certification exam administered by the State and earn
the title Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A). Nursing Assistants are
employed in hospitals, nursing homes, outpatient clinics and are also
employed as home health aides, and private duty nurses. The program
length is twelve weeks part time-time and eight weeks full time. The
clock hours for the Nursing Assistants/Aide Program is 80 Lectures/Lab
and 40 Clinical.

GRADUATION:
Upon completion of the program, a certificate will be awarded.
Graduation from the program enables the graduate to apply and take the
Nurse Aide Certification Exam and earn the title of Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).
