Medical Learning Center Admission Requirements

APPLICATION PROCESS:

The following criteria are used to evaluate each applicant for admission to
the nursing programs at Medical Learning Center.

• Applicants must provide documents such as: High School
  Diploma/Transcripts all in English and/or GED.
• Complete the school application (fee: $ 50.00 non refundable).
• Applicants must take and pass the pre-entrance Aptitude test (fee:
  $ 50.00 non-refundable). A score of 20 is required for passing.
• Two references are required for each student (Provide name, address,
  phone number and relationship to the applicant. e.g. boss, sister,
  friend, etc).
• The applicant is required to submit a current medical history and proof
  of immunizations such as: HBV, MMR and PPD (skin test) and/or Chest
  X-Ray if skin test is positive signed by a qualified healthcare provider
  prior to clinical rotation.
• Additional requirements include: CPR (by American Heart Association), 

     Professional Liability Insurance and Police Clearance (criminal background

     check required).

• The admissions committee will evaluate all applicants without regard to
  age, race, gender, religion, disability or national origin. Applicants will
  be notified of the committee’s decision.
